A woman with shoulder-length light brown hair, wearing large tortoiseshell glasses, smiling, dressed in a black and white striped shirt, standing against a plain light-colored background.

Kadeidra Honey-Brooks founded this firm after more than a decade in estate planning - first at a premier California firm, then in‑house at a registered investment adviser. That path gave her something rare: a deep understanding of both the legal architecture of estate planning and the financial world her clients live in.

She built Honey Brooks Law because she loves this work. Estate planning is complex and real. It lives at the intersection of money, family and death, which are some of the most personal, private and emotionally charged conversations a person can have. Kadeidra understands why most people would rather avoid this conversations and she loves guiding families through them.

She built this firm around the belief that a great estate planning attorney is more than a drafter of documents. She is a trusted advisor who can hold the full weight of these conversations, including family dynamics, unspoken fears and complicated relationships.

Kadeidra works with a deliberately select number of clients each year and brings both professional fluency and lived perspective to a field where that combination is rare. She is committed to serving clients whose lives and families don't always fit conventional molds and to doing so with the respect and warmth they deserve.

Kadeidra lives in Los Angeles with her spouse, a nonprofit executive; their daughter Pearl; and their senior chihuahua, Judy. She serves clients throughout California and welcomes virtual consultations.
